...The National Weather Service in Springfield MO has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...

  Big Piney below Fort Leonard Wood  -East Gate affecting Pulaski
  County.

...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Missouri...

  Sac River near Caplinger Mills affecting Cedar County.

For the Big Piney River...including Fort Leonard Wood - East Gate...
Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Sac River...including Caplinger Mills...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON TO EARLY TUESDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Piney  below Fort Leonard Wood - East Gate.

* WHEN...From Monday afternoon to early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, the Pontoon Training Area at Ft. Wood
  Floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 2.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 8.2 feet tomorrow evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    8.2 feet on 05/26/2011.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL TUESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Sac River near Caplinger Mills.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, flood waters affect low lying areas near
  the river including farmland along Highway N and between Highway W
  and Caplinger Mills. Cedar Creek...a tributary of the Sac River
  backwaters and floods portions of Highway 39 and south of Cedar
  Springs.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:45 PM CDT Sunday was 17.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 20.7 feet tomorrow morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening to 7.9
    feet Wednesday morning. It will rise to 9.9 feet Thursday
    evening. It will then fall again and remain below flood
    stage.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    20.7 feet on 04/26/2020.
