...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN CEDAR AND NORTHERN DADE
COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM CDT...

At 531 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northwest of Greenfield, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Stockton Lake, Stockton State Park, Greenfield, Dadeville, Jerico
Springs, Arcola, Umber View Heights, Masters, Cane Hill, Neola,
Cedarville, Sylvania, and Bona.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
southwestern Missouri.
