...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN TANEY AND
SOUTHEASTERN STONE COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 AM CDT...

At 931 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Roberson Hollow, or 8 miles southwest of Branson, moving northeast at
15 mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Branson, Shepherd of the Hills State Park, Table Rock State Park,
Lake Taneycomo, Table Rock Lake, Hollister, Silver Dollar City,
Indian Point, Branson West, Table Rock, Kirbyville, Blue Eye, Coney
Island, and Ridgedale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If on or near Table Rock Lake, get out of the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
