IS CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for central and
west central Missouri. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until
midnight CDT for central Missouri.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM CDT
FOR CENTRAL BENTON...NORTHWESTERN CAMDEN AND MORGAN COUNTIES...

At 609 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Warsaw, moving
east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Truman Lake, Lake of The Ozarks, Truman State Park, Versailles,
Village of Four Seasons, Warsaw, Lincoln, Stover, Laurie, Barnett,
Gravois Mills, Rocky Mount, Lakeview Heights, Crockerville, Zora,
Edmonson, Hastain, Whitakerville, and Racket.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for central and
west central Missouri. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until
midnight CDT for central Missouri.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near Truman Lake, get away from the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
