.SYNOPSIS...
Generally seasonal weather will prevail into next week with minor
day to day changes. Warmer today with not much change for Friday,
slightly cooler for Saturday through Monday, then warming for
Tuesday through Thursday of next week to a few degrees above
average near the coast to around 10 degrees above average for the
deserts. The marine layer will mostly fluctuate between 2000 and
2500 feet through Monday with night and morning coastal low clouds
extending inland into portions of the valleys, then may become
slightly shallower for the middle of next week. There will be
gusty southwest to west winds for the mountains and deserts for
each late afternoon through late evening.

COUNTIES...

.SHORT TERM (Today through Saturday)...
The marine layer is around 2000 feet deep with satellite imagery
showing coastal low clouds covering all of the Orange County
coastal plain and extending inland in San Diego across the western
half of the valleys. High temperatures today will be a few degrees
warmer than Wednesday at lower elevations to 5 to 10 degrees
warmer for the mountains, mostly in the 80s for the Inland Empire
and 100 to 106 for the lower deserts.

Not much change is expected for high temperatures on Friday with
coastal low clouds spreading a little farther into the valleys. A
few degrees cooler for Saturday with coastal low clouds spreading
into portions of the inland valleys. There will be gusty southwest
to west winds for the mountains and deserts for each late
afternoon through late evening. The strongest winds are expected
on Saturday with the stronger gusts to 25 to 35 mph with gusts in
the northern Coachella Valley below the San Gorgonio Pass to 40 to
50 mph.

.LONG TERM (Sunday through Wednesday)...
Not much change for Sunday and Monday with high temperatures a few
degrees above average for the deserts and a few degrees below
average for the coast and valleys, in the upper 70s to mid 80s for
the Inland Empire and in the upper 90s to 104 for the lower
deserts. Night and morning coastal low clouds will extend inland
into portions of the inland valleys.

For Tuesday and Wednesday, high pressure aloft will bring warming
with the marine layer becoming a little shallower with night and
morning coastal low clouds not extending not quite as far into
the inland valleys. For Wednesday, high temperatures will be
around average near the coast to 5 to 10 degrees above average for
the deserts, into the mid 80s to mid 90s for the Inland Empire
and 102 to 108 for the lower deserts.

.AVIATION...
300930Z...Coast/Valleys...Low clouds with bases 1000-1400 feet MSL
and tops to 1600 feet will continue to push locally into inland
valleys through 14Z. Inland vis 0-5SM. Scatter out 16-20Z from
inland to coast, but with only partial or intermittent clearing at
the immediate coast. Low clouds to push ashore and inland after 01Z
with similar bases/vis and coverage into early Friday.

Mountains/Deserts...Clear skies with unrestricted vis today and
tonight.
