The National Weather Service Office in Shreveport will conduct two surveys today. The first team will survey portions of Smith County and Eastern Henderson County in Northeast Texas near the vicinity of Lake Palestine and also Wood County near Winnsboro, Texas. The second team will survey portions of Sevier County, Arkansas as well as McCurtain County, Oklahoma and Red River County, Texas. A final assessment including results of the survey are expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement by late this evening.
