At 602 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Point, or 16 miles northeast of Wills Point, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Longview, Mount Pleasant, Kilgore, White Oak, Gladewater, Gilmer, Mineola, Pittsburg, Winnsboro, Leesburg, Lindale, Hallsville, Mount Vernon, Daingerfield, Quitman, Hughes Springs, Lone Star, Naples, Big Sandy, and Hawkins.
