...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CASS...SOUTHWESTERN
BOWIE...MORRIS...NORTHERN TITUS AND SOUTHEASTERN RED RIVER COUNTIES
THROUGH 1130 PM CDT...

At 1027 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cookville, or 7 miles northeast of Mount Pleasant, moving southeast
at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Pleasant, Daingerfield, Hughes Springs, Naples, Omaha, Cason,
Us 259 And I 30 Intersection, Wilkerson, Cookville, Jenkins, Rocky
Branch, Dalby Springs, Marietta, Roeder, and Bryans Mill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
