SOUTHEASTERN LINCOLN AND NORTHWESTERN WINN PARISHES THROUGH 1030 PM
CDT...

At 935 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 12 miles east of Ringgold to 18 miles west of
Jonesboro to 13 miles northeast of Campti. Movement was northeast at
30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Ruston, Jonesboro, Choudrant, Chatham, Hodge, Goldonna, North Hodge,
Dodson, East Hodge, Saline, Lucky, Ashland, Castor, Bienville,
Quitman, Eros, Brice, Friendship, Liberty Hill, and Black Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
north central and northwestern Louisiana.
