...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN DE SOTO...
SOUTHWESTERN CADDO PARISHES IN NORTHWESTERN LOUISIANA AND EAST
CENTRAL PANOLA COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM CDT...

At 738 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Deberry, or 11 miles northeast of Carthage, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Keachi, Midyett, Kickapoo, Front, and Spring Ridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
northwestern Louisiana...and northeastern Texas.
