The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Harrison County in northeastern Texas...
  Northwestern Panola County in northeastern Texas...
  Northeastern Rusk County in northeastern Texas...
  Eastern Gregg County in northeastern Texas...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 522 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Hallsville to 9 miles southeast of Kilgore to
  near Turnertown, moving south at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Longview, Henderson, Hallsville, Tatum, New London, Joinerville,
  Pinehill, Minden, Lakeport, Easton, Chapman, Monroe, Darco,
  Stewart, Chalk Hill, Church Hill, Oak Hill, and Judson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
