The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Fisher County in west central Texas...
  Northern Jones County in west central Texas...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 614 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of
  rain have fallen...from Hamlin to between Tuxedo and Anson...as a
  severe storms moves slowly east toward Avoca and Lueders.
  Additional rainfall amounts up to 2.5 inches are possible in the
  warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Stamford, Anson, Hamlin, Lueders, Avoca, Nugent, Tuxedo, Funston,
  The Intersection Of Us-180 And Farm Road 600 and Hitson.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
CO Rd. 212 crossing California Creek, County Road 245 crossing
California Creek, County Road 242 crossing Flag Branch, crossings
along County Road 141, County Road 260 crossing Harmony Creek,
County Road 261 crossing Cottonwood Creek and County Road 209
crossing Post Oak Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
