...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  county, Mason.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 909 PM CDT, Storms have ended. Minor flooding is possible.
    Between 1 and 1.4 inches of rain fell from Hext to Streeter
    to just west of Mason to 5 miles north of Loyal Valley.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mason, Hedwigs Hill, Grit, Hilda, Streeter, Long Mountain,
    Loyal Valley, Koockville, The Intersection Of Highway 29 And
    Ranch Road 1222 and Us-87 Near The Mason-Gillespie County
    Line.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    Old Junction crossing Honey Creek, Turkey SpringS crossing,
    Red crossing Little Bluff Creek, Hungry Hollow crossing, Long
    Mountain crossing, Chimney Hollow crossing Big Bluff Creek,
    West Simonsville crossing, Peters Creek crossing Peters
    Creek, Simonsville crossing Bader Creek and Simonsville
    crossing Beaver Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
