And now, here`s your Regional Weather Summary, for West Central
Texas.


Late this morning, temperatures were in the mid and upper 80s,
with lower 90s along the I-10 corridor. Skies were mostly sunny.
Winds were north to northeast at 5 to 10 mph, with light and
variable winds elsewhere.


Now, here`s a quick forecast summary, for West Central Texas.

Hot today with highs mainly 100 to 105 degrees. Areas from east of
Abilene southeast to Brownwood and Brady may see highs slightly
less, in the upper 90s. Isolated thunderstorms, some possibly
severe, are possible this afternoon and evening, along and east
of a Haskell to Abilene to Junction line. Not as hot the rest the
week, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day. Some
storms may be severe, particularly Tuesday afternoon and evening.
