The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  South central Haskell County in west central Texas...
  Northern Jones County in west central Texas...
  Northeastern Fisher County in west central Texas...

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 546 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hamlin,
  moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Stamford around 600 PM CDT.
  Avoca around 615 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Funston,
Tuxedo, The Intersection Of Us-
180 And Farm Road 600, and The Intersection Of Us-
180 And Ranch Road 126.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in San Angelo.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for west central
Texas.
