...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN CALLAHAN AND NORTHEASTERN TAYLOR COUNTIES...

At 802 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over southern
Abilene, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe storm will be near...
  Southeastern Abilene and Potosi around 810 PM CDT.
  Eula around 815 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Lake
Abilene, Camp Tonkawa, and Kirby Lake.

This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 289 and 297.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this
storm.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
San Angelo.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
