...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM AST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive runoff is expected.

* WHERE...Along Rio Guayanes and its tributaries in Yabucoa.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM AST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 657 PM AST, USGS indicates that Rio Guayanes remains in
    flood stage, but it is gradually decreasing. Flooding is
    ongoing in the warned area.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
