This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible across
northwestern Puerto Rico. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area
and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...Heat index 108-111 degrees expected across
the west to northeastern sections of Puerto Rico. Heat exhaustion
likely with prolonged exposure. Heat stroke possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Hot and muggy conditions will persist for the next several days.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms may cause ponding of
water in roads and poor drainage areas each afternoon mainly
across northwestern Puerto Rico. A mass of drier air, with
moderate concentration of Saharan dust will persist across the
local region through Sunday.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible across
the U.S. Virgin Islands. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area
and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Heat...Heat index 108-111 degrees expected across
St. Croix. Heat exhaustion likely with prolonged exposure. Heat
stroke possible.


.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly in St. Croix

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Hot and muggy conditions will persist for the next several days.
Scattered to isolated showers will affect the local islands,
mainly during the morning hours each day. A mass of drier air,
with moderate concentration of Saharan dust will persist across
the local region through Sunday.
