.DISCUSSION...Very little chance of widespread wetting rains in
the Tushars for the next week or more. Isolated high-based showers
and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon with strong
southwest flow aloft, though the better chances will be from the
high peak of the Tushars northeastward. Any storms will be capable
of gusty outflow winds. Tomorrow, a weakening cold front will
approach from the northwest in the afternoon, though widespread
precipitation is favored to remain north and west of the burn
site, with only a 10% chance of reaching the burn. Thereafter,
building high pressure will lead to warming and continued dry
conditions.
