Late-morning observations show fairly flat surf along local beaches with light prevailing SE winds. A turn out of the south then SW is expected this afternoon with the seabreeze. Therefore, we continue to advertise a moderate risk of rip currents. Forecast surf heights are generally below 2 ft. Winds and surf will increase later in the week, which will lead to a moderate to high rip current risk along the beaches mid to late week.
