.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Dangerous rip currents likely at all area beaches this afternoon with
strong onshore flow anticipated, especially at Panhandle Beaches.
This is likely to continue into Saturday before wind speeds begin to
reduce across area waters by Monday with the rip current expected to
subside. A wet weekend is in store, especially on Saturday and some
severe weather remains possible.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

State Park Gulf Beaches.......Double Red
West Facing Gulf Beaches......Double Red
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....Double Red
Franklin......................Red
