...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHERN IRWIN...NORTHEASTERN BERRIEN...SOUTHEASTERN TURNER AND
CENTRAL TIFT COUNTIES...

At 702 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Alapaha, or 9
miles south of Ocilla, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Tifton, Ocilla, Enigma, Alapaha, Mystic, Unionville, Phillipsburg,
Vanceville, Chula, Gladys, Glory, Harding, Waterloo, Pinetta,
Irwinville, Irwinville Airport, Brookfield, and Sunsweet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.

Tallahassee.
