.DISCUSSION...

An unsettled northwesterly flow aloft will maintain scattered
showers and thunderstorms today, with the best chance in the
afternoon and early evening hours. Severe weather is not expected,
but any storm may contain gusty winds up to 40 mph, brief
downpours, and pea size hail in addition to a few lightning
strikes. There will be lull in activity tonight, but an initial
push of moisture associated with an approaching low pressure
system will bring increased rain shower activity on Wednesday. A
few thunderstorms can be expected Wednesday afternoon as well.
