...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas...

  Neosho River near Emporia affecting Lyon County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Neosho River near Emporia.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs along the river
  upstream to Dunlap and downstream to Neosho Rapids.
  At 19.5 feet, Prairie Street, north of the bridge, floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 20.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.5
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
