...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN ANDERSON AND
SOUTHEASTERN COFFEY COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM CDT...

At 906 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Colony, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Colony, Westphalia, Kincaid, and Lone Elm.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
east central Kansas.
