...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN LYON COUNTY...

At 742 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles northwest of
Madison, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported winds around or above 75
         mph at 8 miles southwest of Olpe at 7:20 pm CDT.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Olpe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
