...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN GEARY...MORRIS AND SOUTHWESTERN WABAUNSEE
COUNTIES...

At 759 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Alta Vista to near Council Grove to 4 miles
northwest of Strong City, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotter reported 65-70mph winds 4 miles
         east of Wilsey.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Council Grove, Alta Vista, Dwight, Wilsey, Parkerville, and Council
Grove Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
