At 728 AM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain generally in eastern
Oklahoma east of highway 75, also west of a Eufaula to Hugo line and
also north of I44 and west of highway 75. Thunderstorms with locally
heavy rain were located in Pittsburg, Mcintosh and Muskogee counties
in Oklahoma. Movement was to the east at around 10 mph. The average
amount where it rained last hour was around one quarter of an inch
with maximum amounts of an inch and a half to two inches. Coverage,
and intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area
forecast for this morning, cloudy, occasional showers and
thunderstorms with temperatures 68 to 76 degrees and south winds 5
to 10 mph.
