Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were located in Craig and Ottawa counties in Oklahoma and Carroll county in Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Fort Smith area. Movement was slowly to the east at 5 to 10 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was less than one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of one half to three quarters of an inch. Intensity increased during the last hour.
