SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. RISK...Elevated. AREA...Southeast Oklahoma into West-Central and Northwest Arkansas. ONSET...After 7 PM. DISCUSSION... Data suggests that there will be an increase in elevated thunderstorms north of an outflow boundary later this evening across southeast Oklahoma into northwest Arkansas. Large hail would be the primary threat, with locally damaging wind possible as well. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Activation of the Regional Spotter Network Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. THURSDAY thru SATURDAY...Severe Thunderstorm Potential. SUNDAY and MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. TUESDAY...No Hazards. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... Thunderstorm chances will continue Thursday through Saturday along with a continued risk of severe weather. Additional areas of heavy rainfall will contribute to an increasing flood potential.
