...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN TODD AND CENTRAL TRIPP
COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM CDT...

At 628 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Ideal to 7 miles southwest of Sicangu Village.
Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Winner, Ideal, Carter, Keyapaha, Witten, Hamill, Ideal South Housing,
Sicangu Village, Hidden Timber, Clearfield, Littleburg, and eastern
Rosebud Reservation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
south central South Dakota.
