...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL HAAKON COUNTY
THROUGH 515 PM MDT...

At 448 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southeast of Kirley, or 36 miles northeast of Philip, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Haakon
County, southeast of Kirley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
west central South Dakota.
