.DISCUSSION...Strong north winds and cooler temps will blast down along the coast from
today through Mon. In the Interior, remnant shortwave energy may bring widely scattered
thunderstorms to the Lower Koyukuk Valley today. A shortwave trough from the east
will bring widely scattered thunderstorms to the Upper Kuskokwim Valley on Sunday.
A slight cooling trend is expected Sunday into next week with conditions remaining
well clear of any critical levels.
