A more active weather pattern returns to the region today, with
strong to severe storms possible over eastern Montana and the
western Dakotas this afternoon and evening. Highs today are
expected to range from the the lower 70s east to the lower 80s in
the west and over much of South Dakota. Lows tonight are forecast
from the the upper 40s in eastern Montana and around Lake
Superior, to the mid to upper 50s elsewhere.

Precipitation chances then continue across the region through the
end of the work week. Temperatures remain near seasonable in the
60s and 70s through Friday, before warming into the 70s and 80s
for the weekend.
