...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN MCLEAN...
NORTHWESTERN BURLEIGH AND EASTERN OLIVER COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM
CDT...

At 400 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles west of Wilton, or 20 miles north of Mandan, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wilton, Baldwin, Cross Ranch State Park, Price, New Johns Lake,
Sanger, and Nelson Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
south central North Dakota.
