Some ponding of water and minor flooding on the roads and in low lying areas are likely. ALC091-171700- /O.NEW.KBMX.FA.Y.0049.240517T1407Z-240517T1700Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Marengo AL- 907 AM CDT Fri May 17 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT TODAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following county, Marengo. * WHEN...Until noon CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 901 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in continued minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
