* WHAT...For the first Excessive Heat Warning, dangerously hot
  conditions with heat index values up to 117. For the Heat
  Advisory, heat index values up to 112 expected. For the second
  Excessive Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index
  values up to 118 expected.

* WHERE...Brooks, Inland Kenedy, Jim Hogg, Northern Hidalgo,
  Southern Hidalgo, Starr, and Zapata Counties.

* WHEN...For the first Excessive Heat Warning, until 7 PM CDT this
  evening. For the Heat Advisory, From 7 PM CDT this evening to 11
  AM CDT Saturday. For the second Excessive Heat Warning, from 11 AM
  to 7 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit exercise and strenuous activities to
early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat
exhaustion and heat stroke. Heat related illnesses increase
significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Death is
possible to unprepared people and pets.
