...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...

Lake Ontario from Niagara River to Hamlin Beach...
The Lower Niagara River...

At 925 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 25 nm north of Niagara River to
Fort Niagara, moving east at 35 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Wilson, Sunset Beach, Fort Niagara, Thirty Mile Point, Youngstown,
and Olcott.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
