... Heavy Thunderstorms into the Evening ...

Slow moving thunderstorms this late afternoon are producing
localized heavy rainfall across the western Southern Tier. These
storms, moving northeast to southwest, can produce an inch to inch
and a half of rainfall in an hour timeframe.

Poor drainage flooding and ponding of water in low lying areas
are likely from these storms.

These storms will continue into the early evening, with just an
isolated shower remaining through the mid and late evening hours.
