Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
430 AM EDT Mon May 20 2024

.DISCUSSION... Dry weather with partly to mostly skies expected
today with northeasterly winds courtesy of high pressure centered
to our north and east. Areas of low clouds and/or patchy fog are
possible early this morning before clouds lift and become
scattered cumulus by the afternoon. Winds shift southeast on
Tuesday as high pressure moves offshore with an increase in
temperatures and moisture as the week goes on. The next decent
chance of rain will come on Friday as a cold front tries to move
in from the northwest.

Fog potential for tonight: Fog not expected tonight.
