Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
324 AM EDT Sun May 26 2024

.DISCUSSION...
A warm and unstable air mass will support isolated to
scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening,
favoring the northern Midlands. A cold front will
approach the area on Memorial day and bring a better
chance of organized storms with severe storms possible
each day. A drier and cooler air mass will build into
the region mid week and persists through the end of the
week.

Fog potential for tonight: Patchy fog possible.
