Today:

Showers and thunderstorms have continued from yesterday evening,
producing gusty winds, hail, and heavy rainfall. Thunderstorms are
expected to continue through much of Tuesday with severe weather
expected at times in the morning. Damaging winds, large hail,
tornadoes, and heavy rainfall will be possible.

Severe weather chances will peak in the afternoon hours, primarily
after 3pm. This includes the risk if very large hail, destructive
winds, and tornadoes, some strong. Have multiple ways to receive
warnings and know where to go when severe weather threatens your
location! Storms will exit the area after 7pm with dry conditions
returning overnight. Gusty winds are expected behind the departing
system, especially in the north where gusts over 40mph are possible.

Tonight and beyond:

Winds will ease through the night with dry weather continuing
Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will be in the upper 70s and low 80s for
the remainder of the work week. Additional storm chances return
Thursday night into Friday. More chances of rain return over the
weekend.
