...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Iowa...Missouri...

  Mississippi River at Burlington affecting Hancock, Des Moines,
  Henderson and Lee Counties.

  Mississippi River at Gladstone LD18 affecting Des Moines and
  Henderson Counties.

  Mississippi River at Keithsburg affecting Mercer, Des Moines,
  Henderson and Louisa Counties.

  Mississippi River at Gregory Landing affecting Hancock and Clark
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued by Wednesday morning at 1100 AM
CDT.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Burlington.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water affects low lying buildings and
  homes in Montrose and Niota.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.3
    feet Friday evening.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this evening and continue rising to a crest of 14.6 feet
    Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

  - At 10:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 14.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 15.9 feet
    early Saturday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
