...The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.

  Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued Saturday afternoon at 445 PM CDT.

...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WATCH...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Wapello.

* WHEN...From Saturday evening to Friday, May 31.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. Widespread flooding
  of agricultural land. Numerous secondary roads are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 19.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow evening to a crest of 23.6 feet Monday evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage Thursday evening.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Oakville.

* WHEN...From Sunday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural land is ongoing.
  Several county roads are under water and closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 9.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Sunday morning and continue rising to a crest of 12.9 feet
    Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
