...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of eastern Anderson
County through 1045 PM CDT...

At 1012 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Palestine, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Anderson
County, including the following locations... Pert, Redtown, Mound
City, Salmon, Denson Spring, Cedar Creek, Crystal Lake, Slocum, Todd
City, and Neches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
central Texas.
