Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin

Rain showers have continues to shift northeast across the region
this morning. Cloud skies have remained as well, except in central
WI where as of 10am areas west of Wausau were starting to clear.
Temperatures as of 10am were ranging from the middle 50s across
northern WI to the middle 60s in central WI.

The morning rain showers will exit the region to the northeast
late this morning leaving a period of dry weather to start the
afternoon. A round of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected
to race from northwest to southeast across the area later this
afternoon and evening. Main hazard with any storms that do develop
will be damaging wind gusts. Small hail and heavy downpours are
also possible. Best timing for the severe weather threat is
between 5pm and 9pm.

Less humid conditions today with highs in the 70s. Cooler low
temperatures are forecast tonight with values ranging from the low
to middle 50s.
