* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 629 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
slow-moving thunderstorms over Hickory and along US 70 west
towards Longview, Hildebran, and Icard. Between 1 and 2
inches of rain have fallen over the past 30-45 minutes,
especially over Hickory, where a few gauges have reported
0.60-0.90 inches of rainfall in as little as 15 minutes.
Resultant excess runoff may result in nuisance to flooding
    across the Advisory area.

The areas of primary concern include within Hickory,
especially from downtown to the south and east, affecting
Miller Branch near Tate Blvd, Herman Branch near Adam St, and
Longview Creek near 19th St SW.

  - And additional inch of rain may occur as a final round of
storms train over the Advisory area. This may exacerbate
ongoing flooding or cause new flooding to develop. Avoid all
    area streams and flooded roadways.

  - Nuisance to Minor flooding may occur near or within the
    following locations...
Hickory, Newton, St. Stephens, Conover, Longview, Icard,
Hildebran, Rhodhiss, Mountain View, Hickory Regional Airport,
Lake Hickory, Lake Rhodhiss, Northlakes and Oxford.
