...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL CATAWBA AND
SOUTHERN ALEXANDER COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM EDT...

At 325 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northeast of Hickory, or 4 miles northeast of St. Stephens,
moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
St. Stephens, Bethlehem, Claremont, Lookout Shoals Lake, Lake
Hickory, Millersville, and Oxford.
