The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Habersham County in northeastern Georgia...
  Rabun County in northeastern Georgia...
  Macon County in western North Carolina...

* Until 645 AM EDT.

* At 555 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 5 miles east of Andrews to 8 miles east of
  Hayesville to 7 miles south of Hiawassee, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Franklin, Clayton, Highlands, Mountain City, Tiger, Dillard, Sky
  Valley, Lake Burton, Nantahala Lake, and Black Rock Mountain State
  Park.
