...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SEDGWICK COUNTY
THROUGH 1015 PM CDT...

At 933 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Park City, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wichita, Park City, Valley Center, Bel Aire, Maize, Downtown Wichita,
Kechi, Eastborough, East Wichita, Northeast Wichita, Eisenhower
National Airport, Mcconnell Air Force Base, Jabara Airport, and
Oaklawn.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 1 and 18.
 Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 43 and 54.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
